Baseball fun!!!

Noah and I went to see the Wizards a few days ago. It was no normal Wizards game. Ryne Sandberg (Former Cubs player and now in the Hall of Fame) is coach of the opposing team. We went early to meet Ryne. We did accomplish that...we got our autographs. We also got the coolest picture taken with him, Noah, me and my friend Darrenn all stood next to Ryne and Darrenn had his arm around him. It was so neat. I asked a guy standing next to me to take the picture. When it was done, we were so excited to look at the picture, low and behold the guy didn't take the picture! We were so upset!!! BUT...we'll just have to go back next year when he is here and get another one.

How was your weekend?

We had a very busy weekend. Steve's family was in town for their parents 50th anniversary. It has been 5 1/2 years since they have all been together. We had a big party their were probably 150 people. Alexis also turned 8 on sunday, she thinks she is grown now. Other than that we had family in and out of our apartment all weekend. Hope everyone else had a good weekend. If you have any Heckber's email could you please email me with it so I can invite them to join. Amy tell Ashley to join. I will invite Megan and Ashley again since they haven't joined yet. See everyone Sunday.

OUR LASTEST NEWS IN CASE SOME HAVE NOT HEARD , IS THAT WE SOLD, AT AUCTION, BOTH OUR OFFICE BUILDING DOWNTOWN AND OUR VILLA HOME. LARRY IS BUSY WITH SOME OF THE GRANDSONS AND KIRBY WORKING ON THE SUB-DIVISION PLANTING GRASS ETC. .
LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT SUNDAY FOR THE HECKBER PARTY AT THE "SINK HOLE". SEE YA ALL THERE.

Pond Party!!!!!!

I guess if I'm going to remind you of the Pond Party I should say the time. Once again, Sunday August 3rd, swimming starts at 2:00 and we will eat around 3:00.

These are some pictures of Kirby and Cody in Nicaragua. About a month ago our church went there on a missions trip to help build a concrete security wall. These concrete blocks weighed 100lbs, let's just say they had a pretty good work-out while there. This trip started out horrible for all that went. They were to fly out of Detroit on a Saturday, however that flight was delayed due to the air system in the plain. They finally made it to Miami, although they missed that flight due to the delay. Long story short, they were stuck in Miami until 11:00 Monday night. Not a great way to start a trip. They did make it there and were able to get a lot of work accomplished.

Brenna is still playing softball, Kyle is gearing up for football and Kaylah is getting everything around for college.

Come on Heckber's, let's hear something about your family. Holly's working on getting blog info out to the whole family!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kris

If you happen to run into Kris having an "early-bird" lunch, speak loudly, that hearing isn't what it use to be (I used extra big font for you too sister, I hear the eyesight goes too!!) Wish her a Happy Birthday tomorrow. Love ya!!!!! All in fun, don't get the blood pressure rising:)

Don't Forget About the Heckber Pond Party!!

Just a friendly reminder!! Don't forget to mark your calenders for the pond party!! Once again, the meat and tableware will be provided, please bring a weather friendly dish, towels, lawn chairs, drinks, swim and fishing gear, etc. Hope to see everybody there.

Also, I hope everybody takes advantage of the new Heckber blog, we do this on Kirby's side and it really is a great way to stay in touch. So post often, show us pictures, especially those new babies!! Everybody take care and we'll see you at the party!!!!!
